Hi everyone and welcome to the first ever GGC Rain Garden Course! For one of your first assignments, we'd like you to comment on this post and tell us a little bit about yourself, where you're joining from, and why you decided to take the course. This only has to be a sentence or two, but please leave a reply on someone else's comment if you find you have something in common!
Hello, I'm Suzanne from Havertown. I've kept an organic garden for over 30 years, and I preserve the vegetables from it. We use several rain barrels to water the garden when needed.
I'm interested in creating a separate garden space that needs no extra watering other than rain to sustain it.
I've been out once with Rebecca and Peter on a local rain garden assessment. (I was in charge of holding the garden hose!)
I'd also like to help others create their rain gardens with native plants.
